Frequently Asked Questions about Training

How long is each class?

Approximately two hours.

Which classes do I need to attend to be "trained"?

Class Numbering is as follows:
[Version Number] [Class ID]

So,
Classes that begin with the number 4 pertain to elligence Version 4.x
Classes that begin with the number 3 pertain to elligence Version 3.x

Fox example:
Class 4103: Patient Registration & Payments is for elligence Version 4.x
Class 3103: Patient Registration & Payments is for elligence Version 3.x

Basic classes have Class IDs in the 100 series.  These should be taken in sequence.

More advanced classes or those that involve an optional feature have Class IDs that are in the 200 series.  These may be taken as needed.

How do I "attend" a class?

Simply choose the class and look at the available class times.  Click on Register to choose the class you would like to attend.  Complete the Registration form.  Your confirmation will be sent by email.

When it comes time to take the class, you must be seated at a computer with high speed Internet access and preferably with a speaker phone or headset to free your hands.  Click on the link in your email invitation  and enter the Meeting ID (also in your email invitation).  Enter your name when requested to do so.

How many people may attend a class at one time?

The number of email invitations is limited per client.  This number may be increased by contacting DSI.  Note that an additional cost may be involved.

You may increase the number of people trained at one time at no additional cost, by using a speaker phone and clustering multiple people around a single computer attached to an overhead projector.

May I ask questions during classes?

During classes, your instructor may limit questions to those that are general in nature and answerable in the time available.  Questions specific to your practice / business may be reviewed during your individual implementation time.

If I miss a class can I take it at some other time?

Yes, simply enroll for the next class that meets your schedule.  In order to avoid being charged for the class, cancel your registration (see below).

Are classes taught by different instructors, the same?

All classes are standardized.  Whether one instructor teaches it or another, the material is the same.

How do I view a prior class registration?

Within elligence, go to Help> Training Classes or from the elligence website – www.elligence.net - go to Resources> Upcoming Training.

Classes that you have registered for will appear under the heading “My Upcoming Classes”.  Click on the link for the class whose registration you wish to view.

I’ve registered for a class but need to make some changes.  Can I do that?

Yes.  First, navigate to your Class Registration as described under “How do I view a prior class registration?”, above.

Then click on the Edit tab.  You may then make any changes such as adding or changing the Invitees.  When done, click on Submit.

I’ve registered for a class but need to cancel my registration.  How do I do that?

First, navigate to your Class Registration as described under “How do I view a prior class registration?”, above.

Then click on the Edit tab.  Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Delete.   When asked "are you sure?" – click on Delete again.

See your Training Agreement for our cancellation policy.

I have an unlimited pass to attend classes for ninety days.  How does that work?

An unlimited pass allows a specified number of attendees (usually three) to take as many classes as desired within a ninety day period.  The 90 day period begins from the date of the class for which you first register.

For example, if the current date is June 5th and the first class that you register for is scheduled for June 28th, then the 90 day period begins on June 28th and ends on September 28th.
