I didn't think I could afford it. How can outsourcing be less expensive than mailing statements in-house?
ExpressBill operates two high tech mailing facilities that use high speed precision machines to get the job done quickly and accurately. When you look at the lost productivity of your staff when they have to print, fold and stuff statements the real question is how can you afford not to outsource?

How can I maintain control of the process if I don't get to see every statement?
The statement pre-processing report will let you see who is getting a statement before you send the file to ExpressBill. You may then place statements on Hold or eliminate statements from printing.

Can I see a sample of the statements before they are sent out?
Yes. After you are enrolled you send a test file from which ExpressBill will create sample statements and mail them to you to sign off on. You may then start sending files.

What is the turnaround time for sending out the statements?
ExpressBill uses two high speed processing centers resulting in statements usually being mailed out within one business day.

How does the address correction feature work?
ExpressBill's Address Correction and Forwarding Service uses FASTforwardSMtechnology, licensed by the United States Postal Service, to search all change of address records filed with the USPS within the last six months. All changed addresses are corrected and mailed to the updated address. These updates are then identified on a report-file that ExpressBill returns to you so you can keep your address files current.

Is ExpressBill HIPAA-compliant?
Yes.

What are the startup costs?
There are no set up fees with ExpressBill. A very thorough statement has already been "mapped" with ExpressBill and ships with elligence. Clients are encouraged to use that statement. If you have special needs a custom statement may be mapped. Added setup costs may be involved. In addition, the lead time to get started will increase.

What recurring fees are there?
Depending on your usage, you may be billed for one or more of the following fees:

• The statement (first page including printing, four color statement, envelope, stuffing, return envelope and postage).
• Additional Pages
• Address Correction
• eView (Internet View): On-line storage, viewing and printing past statements.
• Overweight Postage: For statements mailed that weigh over one ounce; these are billed for the added cost of the postage.
