Scheduler Screen 2 of 14: Creating the Master Template
The Resource Scheduler allows you to create a master schedule template for any provider or resource in the system. This enables you to block-out time slots based on regularly-scheduled events.
In this example, Dr. Simonson performs surgeries every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, and takes lunch every day from 12:00 to 1:00. By defining a Master Schedule template for Dr. Simonson, we can block-out these times slots so only surgeries are scheduled in the morning - and no appointments are made during Dr. Simonson's lunch hour.
