Scheduler Screen 10 of 14: Search for Appointment Openings

The Resource Scheduler features a powerful search engine, so you can search for available appointment openings.

Using the search engine, you can look for either available time slots, or for Master Schedule messages (i.e., messages you've associated with regularly-scheduled blocked time slots - such as Surgery or Well Baby Checks).

When working with the search engine, you just choose the patient for whom you are scheduling the appointment, the available time or message you are looking for, the provider(s) and/or resource(s) you need to be present at the appointment, and any preferences the patient has with regard to Time of Day, Date, and/or Days of the Week.

Here, we are looking for a 30-minute appointment with Dr. Anderson, for any Wednesday or Friday morning between 8:00 am and 10:15 am, on or before August 29. As soon as we press the Search button, the system will show us a number of openings that meet our requirements; we can then either book the appointment, or choose More if we want to see additional slots.
