MDsuite: Report Tour

Reports are the heart of a practice management system and MDsuite reports offer an almost unlimited variety and practicality.

Key aspects of MDsuite reports include:

• Flexibility:  Within each category of report, there are Criteria that allow the report to be customized to your needs.
• Filtering:  Each report allows limitations to be placed on what is included.  These limitations can be Patient-based or transaction-based.  For example, a Payments report can be limited to Payments from one or more Payers; a Charge (Production) Report can be limited to one or more Financial Classes and only to a particular provider of services.
• Level of Detail:  Most reports can be created in either a Summary or a detailed mode.  Many summaries are available.
• Separations:  A single report can be separated into multiple reports based on key values.  For example, a Day Sheet can be separated first by the Location and then by the Performing provider.
• Sorting:  Data can be sorted in multiple ways.
• Multiple Output Formats:  All reports may be printed or output as HTML files.  HTML files can be emailed and opened in Internet Explorer.  Most reports can also be exported cleanly to Microsoft Excel.
• Custom Reports:  Extremely useful and unique reports can be created using the elligence Custom Query Report writer tool.  These reports, in addition to all the output methods just mentioned, can be output in file formats for use by other software.
• Hyperlinks:  Many reports provide their data with hyperlinks included for quick access to the patients in the report.
• Profiles:  Reports can be manipulated and the settings can be Saved into profiles for easy, quick access.
