ChartWare, which has one of the most technologically-advanced systems in the world for computerizing medical records, has now added one of the most advanced systems for computerizing administrative functions.
The fully integrated system will save costs and offer physicians and hospitals a flexible, efficient and reliable way of running both the clinical and business sides of their operations, it says.
The Rohnert Park, California, company was awarded five stars by Family Practice Management, the journal of the American Academy of Family Physicians, for its record-keeping software. To this it will now add systems for billing, scheduling and reporting developed by Data Strategies Inc., of Poway, California, a leader in practice management software since 1981. The new service is called chartwarePM.
“Health care is at last demanding the integrated systems that have been standard in business offices for years,” says Dr. David Tully-Smith, president of ChartWare. “We can give them the smooth interchange of information between the front and back offices that everyone wants – and the user has only one company to deal with.”
